The West Side, February 26, 2021

Due to the pandemic, Chippewa Valley business and community leaders will advocate for the region’s economic interests with capitol lawmakers virtually for the first time during the annual event known as the Chippewa Valley Rally. The details will be discussed on “The West Side” at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26 on The Ideas Network stations of Wisconsin Public Radio: 88.3/Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7/River Falls.

Host Dean Kallenbach will welcome Scott Rogers, vice president of governmental affairs at the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce; Jennifer McHugh, vice president of community engagement at Royal Credit Union who is also a member of the Eau Claire Chamber Government Affairs Committee; Jackie Boos, tourism director with the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce and Doug Mell, special assistant to the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Stout who is representing the Menomonie Chamber of Commerce.
